Playing computer must prevent cervical spondylosis

  Cervical spondylosis was originally a common disease in the middle-aged and elderly, but doctors are finding in their clinics that more and more young people are having early problems with their cervical spine because of poor computer posture over a long period of time.  Nowadays, many people need to work in a fixed posture for a long time, such as writing, using the computer and so on. At this time, the head is forced to maintain a fixed position for a long time, the muscles and ligaments of the neck are under tension for a long time. At the same time, the cervical spine, which carries the main weight of the head, is also in a fixed position on the bones for a long time. Over time, the excessive load leads to chronic damage to the above-mentioned tissues, and the symptoms are local inflammation, swelling, neck and shoulder pain in the damaged tissues. When the intervertebral disc ligament injury rupture leads to disc protrusion and osteophytes, stimulation and compression of the surrounding spinal cord, nerves, ligaments, vertebral artery, there will be pain and numbness in the upper limbs, inflexible finger movement, dizziness and headache, unstable walking, numbness and weakness in the lower legs, palpitations and sweating, etc.  Once the above symptoms appear, timely consultation should be made, and most patients can achieve satisfactory results through conservative treatment. It is worth noting: these symptoms are increasingly finding young people, thirty or forty years old is very common in outpatient clinics, and due to busy work and insufficient attention, they are often already very sick when they go to the doctor. In this summer, the smallest patient I treated was a teenager who walked into the hospital with a crooked neck after playing games for more than ten hours.  Then, when we use the computer for a long time, we should enhance self-protection awareness and stay away from cervical spondylosis. Usually in life to pay attention to the following details: sleep pillow should not be too high or too low, to squash after the pillow height of 3-5 cm appropriate; should not lie down to read books, watch TV; avoid prolonged low head work, about 1 hour of computer operation should relax the neck; ride, sports should also avoid neck trauma.
