The middle and late stages of Alzheimer’s disease As the disease progresses, the patient may gradually develop: 1. Forgetting past events
2. They may need help with bathing, eating, dressing or using the toilet.
3. Disorganized behavior, such as unfriendly, uncooperative or aggressive behavior, may also occur.
4.Patients often get lost, and in severe cases, they cannot even find their bedrooms or bathrooms.
5.Late stage patients can no longer walk and cannot perform any activities of daily living, and are prone to malnutrition, pneumonia and bed sores.
