Alzheimer’s disease (dementia) is a chronic disease with an insidious onset that can be easily overlooked by family members. The early symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease are: 1. memory loss, especially forgetting things that have just been experienced. 2.
2. The ability to learn new things is diminished.
3. Inability to express oneself in appropriate language.
4.Major mood swings.
5.Change in personality.
6. Patients have increasing difficulties with activities of daily living (e.g., not being able to calculate income and expenses, getting lost, not being able to remember where to put objects, etc.) The early stages of the disease do not prevent social activities, but families should pay special attention to these early signs once they appear.
