Take care of your child and prevent dental caries

The Ministry of Health proposed that the theme of this year’s Love Teeth Day is “Healthy Mouth, Happy Family” and the subtopic is “Caring for Children, Preventing Dental Caries”. Vulgar closure is an effective measure recommended by WHO (World Health Organization) to prevent dental caries for children and adolescents. Many experts at home and abroad have done clinical experiments, which can reduce the caries rate of the teeth by 50-90%. As shown in the picture above, there is a poorly developed sulcus with width less than 0.2mm at the bottom of the sulcus on the tooth surface, and the food residue falls in, so it is impossible to clean it by brushing and rinsing, and it is easy to occur caries. Dentists use flowing resin to protect these sockets from bacterial decay. 3-4 years old children do the milk molar, 6-7 years old do the 1st permanent molar, and 12 or 13 years old do the other permanent molar. Dads and moms keep these three ages in mind. Usually you have to do the socket closure within 3 or 4 years of tooth eruption. However, the closure only protects the sulcus from bacterial decay, but the other parts of the teeth (such as the gap between two teeth) will be decayed if they are not kept clean. Therefore, parents should pay attention to the fact that children should brush their teeth carefully and maintain good oral hygiene habits. Don’t have the idea that once you have done the gutter closure, you should go to review every three months to six months after the closure, and you should redo it if the sealant falls off.
