What should I do if I have a scar from mole removal?

Although nevus nigricans is a skin disease, it does not usually affect a person’s health. If a dark pigmented mole affects aesthetics and is considered to be removed, one can choose medication, laser, or surgical excision to get rid of it according to the size, location, depth, and degree of protrusion of the mole. As long as the right treatment method is chosen, the cure effect is ideal. Of course, we have encountered many patients with scars from mole spotting in our clinical work, so today we would like to share with you about mole spotting scars. Why is there scarring from mole spotting? Mole spotting will destroy the original skin and let it grow again, which is the process of tissue regeneration. Mole spotting leaving pits is actually what we call depressed scars. There are generally two types of depressed scars, one is called tissue loss, and after mole spotting, it usually recovers by crusting, which is a slower healing process. The tissue regeneration of the skin is less efficient, and due to the differentiation of each person’s body type, some people form depressed scars after recovery. The second condition is epidermal dermal adhesions, which are less common in nevus. It is commonly caused by pokes, bumps and other reasons. How to treat with scars? So how to deal with depressed scars left after mole spotting? For scars with superficial degree, we can repair them by laser. The heat generated by the laser stimulates the regeneration of skin tissues and gradually flattens the depressions. For scars with deeper depressions, the laser is not so ideal. In this case, surgical excision is recommended, and after excision, the skin tension is fully reduced by “super tension reduction fine suture technology” to avoid post-operative stitching scars, so as to achieve the purpose of restoring depressed scars.
