Surgical method of circumcision

Children’s prepuce or foreskin is also one of the long-standing problems that plague parents. Many parents do not know whether their children have a prepuce problem, whether they need surgery, and if so, at what age is it best to do it?

It is generally believed that all children are born with a prepuce, and the foreskin wraps around the glans, making the tender glans safe from external stimulation. However, the prepuce tends to accumulate dirt underneath the foreskin, which can easily become infected and may affect the development of the penis and sex life in the future, and even increase the chances of penile cancer in the male partner and cervical cancer in the female partner.

In some Islamic and Jewish countries, circumcision is even included in the national religious rituals, and all their boys are circumcised when they are one or two years old, which is called “circumcision”.

The procedure is a minimally invasive circumcision, which requires no incision, no hospitalization, only 10 minutes of surgery, no bleeding, little post-operative pain, and can be done under local anesthesia on an outpatient basis, without the need for post-operative wound dressing, and does not affect the child’s daily activities (walking, school are no problem). The timing of the surgery: It is generally recommended that the surgery be performed around the age of 6 to 12 years old.

It should be added that circumcision is not the exclusive preserve of children; adults who want to pursue a better life can also undergo minimally invasive surgery with the same good results.
