The upper eyelid correction is usually bandaged with pressure for 24-48 hours to prevent local bleeding. After discharge from the hospital, the frontal or ocular bruising should be prevented to avoid frontal and eyelid hematoma. If bruising occurs accidentally, the first thing to do is to press the frontal and ocular area on the operated side with your hand to prevent hematoma formation. After surgery, the eyelid is usually not fully closed, so be sure to apply eye ointment every day before going to bed, and if necessary, use plastic wrap to cover the eyes after applying eye ointment. If you experience eye redness or eye pain, please seek medical attention promptly.
