Pancreatitis consists of two types: acute and chronic, with different symptoms.
1. Acute pancreatitis
(1) Abdominal pain: it is the main symptom, often occurring suddenly after a full meal or drinking alcohol, with severe pain, usually located in the left upper abdomen, radiating to the left shoulder and left lumbar back.
(2) Abdominal distension: co-exist with abdominal pain.
(3) Nausea and vomiting: the vomiting is intense and frequent, the vomit is gastroduodenal contents, and the abdominal pain is not relieved after vomiting.
(4) Fever: Most of them have more than moderate fever, lasting for 3~5 days.
2. Chronic pancreatitis: abdominal pain is the most common. The pain is located in the epigastric region of the upper abdomen under the raphe to the left, often radiating to the waist and back, in the form of a girdle, the pain lasts for a long time, and can be accompanied by loss of appetite, weight loss, and some patients have insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus and fatty liver.
