Pancreatitis recurrence is usually not alleviated without treatment.
Pancreatitis is an acute and chronic disease caused by inflammation of the pancreatic tissues of the human body. Long-term heavy drinking and gallstones are the main triggers for the development of this disease. Most patients with acute pancreatitis recover after active treatment, but if the cause of the disease is not removed in time, there may be frequent relapses.
At this point, acute pancreatitis may develop into chronic pancreatitis. Chronic pancreatitis has many complications, and the inflammation caused by chronic pancreatitis is a risk factor for pancreatic cancer.
The recurrence of pancreatitis will not be alleviated without treatment, but may worsen the condition. Therefore, it is recommended that pancreatitis patients actively cooperate with doctors to avoid aggravation of the condition.
