Fever and sweating is not almost done

Sweating with a fever indicates that the body temperature is in a decreasing stage, but it does not mean that the disease is well. When a patient with fever sweats, the sweat will take away heat in the form of evaporation, which has a cooling effect, and the body temperature will appear to decrease. Sweating is an important way to lower the body temperature. If the fever is only feverish without sweating, it will not be easy to lower the temperature and will even continue to rise. If sweating is high, the body temperature can usually be reduced to normal without the use of antipyretics. Many patients will sweat about half an hour after taking antipyretic drugs such as ibuprofen, indicating that the body temperature has dropped at this time. Of course, the time to reduce fever varies from patient to patient and from condition to condition. When you have a fever, you can also take some physical methods to help cool down the fever by sweating, such as ice, warm water or alcohol baths, and the use of antipyretic patches, etc. If none of the above work, it is recommended that you seek medical attention in a timely manner. At the same time, when you have a fever, you should pay more attention to your diet, try to choose easily digestible food, do not eat seafood, meat and other protein-rich foods for the time being, so as not to cause indigestion, and pay attention to replenish enough water to avoid dehydration. The presence of fever often indicates the presence of infection in the patient’s body, the pathogen of infection can be bacteria, viruses, mycoplasma, chlamydia, fungi, etc. The simple reduction of fever does not mean that the disease has been cured, we should pay attention to the patient’s other accompanying symptoms and signs, if necessary, hospital consultation, under the guidance of the doctor to take drugs to treat the original disease.
