Is moderate fatty liver serious?

  Fatty liver is divided into alcoholic fatty liver and non-alcoholic fatty liver. There is pathological grading for fatty liver grading, when the fat content in the liver exceeds 10%-25% of the liver wet weight, it is moderate fatty liver. There is also color ultrasound grading, liver color ultrasound performance of anterior field echogenic enhancement, posterior field echogenic attenuation, intrahepatic tubular structure blurred, is moderate fatty liver. Generally, ultrasound grading is commonly used. Moderate fatty liver is not very serious.  Moderate fatty liver is a slow development process, caused by many factors, mainly including alcoholism, abnormal nutritional metabolism, drug and toxic poisoning caused. Symptoms include right upper abdominal discomfort, fatigue, and aversion to oil and grease. Moderate fatty liver is a reversible lesion and can be restored to normal liver form by abstaining from alcohol, adjusting the diet structure and exercising appropriately. However, if the causative factors persist, moderate fatty liver progressively aggravates, resulting in severe fatty liver or even cirrhosis.  Fatty liver patients should control caloric intake, eat more light and easily digestible food, eat moderate amounts of food containing protein, vitamins and carbohydrates, and avoid alcohol and greasy food.
