Schisandra belongs to the category of astringent drugs, and is useful in the treatment of premature ejaculation caused by the lack of consolidation of kidney qi. Fructus schisandrae has the effects of astringency (astringent consolidation), benefiting qi and generating fluids (promoting fluid production by replenishing qi), tonifying the kidneys and tranquilizing the heart (tonifying the kidneys and stabilizing the heart and mind).
