Post-operative dietary modification of breast tumor

  Postoperative breast tumor patients often have some adverse symptoms such as low appetite, and if nutrition is not replenished, it is more difficult for patients’ body to resist the disease. Therefore, the post-operative diet for breast tumor patients is especially important.  1.Balanced diet: varied food, cereal-based; more vegetables and fruits; frequent consumption of milk, beans or their products; frequent consumption of appropriate amount of fish, poultry, eggs and lean meat to get enough protein.  2, reasonable nutrition: light and highly nutritious, easy to digest, a small number of meals. To eat regularly, quantitatively, do not overeat or partial food.  3, do not eat stimulating food: tobacco, alcohol, coffee, cocoa, strong tea, curry.  4, stay away from hormonal food: such as bird’s nest, snow clam, royal jelly, sheep placenta, etc.  5, avoid eating raw onion and garlic, female pork, pumpkin, alcoholic wine and spicy, fried, greasy, thick meat and fishy, stale and moldy food.  6, avoid eating pickled, smoked and barbecued food and irritating food: such as bacon, sauerkraut, salted fish, moldy food.  7, strictly prohibit the consumption of stimulating seasonings: such as cinnamon, pepper, fennel, etc.  8, try to eat less high-fat, high-sugar food: such as fried eggs, butter, cheese, sweets, animal fat, etc.  9, high vitamin diet: vitamin A can promote tissue regeneration and accelerate wound healing; vitamin K is mainly involved in the coagulation process, which can reduce intraoperative and postoperative bleeding; B vitamin deficiency will cause metabolic disorders, wound healing and tolerance are affected; vitamin C can reduce capillary permeability, reduce bleeding, promote tissue regeneration and wound healing. Therefore, breast tumor patients must eat more fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins or take vitamin tablets before and after surgery.
