The severity of cardiac pre-excitation syndrome needs to be determined by the condition. Some patients may be asymptomatic, while others may develop severe arrhythmias or even acute myocardial ischemia, which can be life-threatening. For cardiac pre-excitation syndrome, it refers to an additional shortcut pathway in the cardiac conduction pathway. When supraventricular tachycardia occurs and conduction occurs through the shortcut pathway, tachyarrhythmia often occurs, which can lead to hemodynamic disturbances and serious conditions, especially when combined with organic heart disease, pre-excitation syndrome can lead to severe myocardial ischemia and cardiac insufficiency. In cardiac pre-excitation syndrome, appropriate medications can be given and surgical treatment can be performed if necessary. Cardiac pre-excitation syndrome is easily complicated by tachycardia and when it does not occur, there are no specific symptoms.
