  Sleep is the main way for the body to rejuvenate and release fatigue. Adequate sleep, a balanced diet and proper exercise are three internationally recognized health standards. The quality of sleep has a significant impact on people’s quality of life and health.  Sleep apnea is a serious respiratory disorder that occurs during sleep and is characterized by respiratory disturbances and interruptions in breathing, which can occur hundreds of times per sleep, with the consequence of lack of oxygen to the brain and other tissues. Clinical manifestations are nighttime sleep snoring with apnea and daytime sleepiness. Long-term sleep apnea can lead to complications such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, diabetes and cerebrovascular disease, and can increase the risk of traffic accidents due to drowsiness, and in severe cases, sudden death at night.
