Treatment of cerebral cysts

Treatment for brain cysts includes conservative and surgical treatment.
Conservative treatment involves physiotherapy to improve the patient’s neurological symptoms, medication to control cyst-induced epilepsy, and regular review of the cyst for progression through CT and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Surgical treatment includes craniotomy for epileptic lesions, craniotomy for cysts and windowing, cyst-abdominal shunts and neurological endodontic guided windowing.
