Japanese and Jews circumcise boys after birth, so the incidence of penile cancer is zero. Most of the circumcisions in China are performed on adults, while circumcisions on children are often performed only because of repeated infections and adhesions.
Chinese parents are worried that their children are too young to tolerate the surgery, and they do not have a reasonable understanding of the health hazards of overcircumcision or circumcision to their children.
At present, the following two conditions need to be treated with surgery in a timely manner, and cannot wait passively: 1. circumcision is an absolute indication for surgery, and the circumcision is generally found to be circularly scarred and inelastic in early childhood; 2. recurrent infections cause adhesions to the glans of the foreskin or retrograde infections cause cystitis.
