If the patient with calf ectropion is a child aged 2 to 6 years old, with normal diet on weekdays, good health, normal height, symmetry of both lower limbs, mild degree of ectropion, and no special genetic disease, it is mostly considered physiological calf ectropion.
If the patient is more than 6 years old and still has persistent calf ectropion, or the degree of calf ectropion is more serious, it is mostly considered pathological calf ectropion.
