Progesterone 11ng/ml is within the normal range before pregnancy, but after pregnancy it belongs to low progesterone. Normal progesterone value before pregnancy is usually 5-15ng/ml, 11ng/ml belongs to normal range, if there is no abnormal change of menstruation, no treatment is needed; if abnormal vaginal bleeding and irregular menstrual cycle occurs, you can follow medical advice for treatment and regular monitoring of hormone six. Progesterone of 11ng/ml after pregnancy can be seen in cases of pre-eclampsia miscarriage, embryonic abortion and ectopic pregnancy: 1. Pre-eclampsia miscarriage: after pregnancy, the gestational sac will secrete HCG, thus maintaining the luteal function of the ovary, the corpus luteum secretes more progesterone, and progesterone will be elevated, usually with 20ng/ml as the boundary. If the progesterone test is 11ng/ml, it means that the progesterone is low, and it is usually considered as pre-eclampsia, which should be treated with progesterone supplementation according to medical prescription. 2. Embryonic abortion: If no fetal heart or fetal bud is seen in ultrasound, or if no fetal heart or fetal bud is seen in the intrauterine gestational sac with an average diameter of 2.5-3cm or more, and the fetal heart has disappeared in the past, it is considered as embryonic abortion. It is not necessary to keep the fetus and it is recommended to clear the uterus to terminate the pregnancy; 3. Ectopic pregnancy: if the progesterone test is 11ng/ml and the blood HCG is more than 2500-3000U/L and no gestational sac is seen in the uterus, ectopic pregnancy is considered. Ectopic pregnancy is sometimes also manifested as low progesterone.
