How long does it take for the black marks to fade after burns

The black marks after skin burns are called pigmentation, and most of them take more than half a year to fade away, but corresponding treatment can be taken to shorten the fading time. If the scalding time is short, pay attention to sun protection in daily life, and at the same time apply medication to prevent pigmentation under the guidance of a doctor, the black marks can gradually recover in about six months. If the pigmentation is a longer burn, patients are advised to take laser or ultra-pulse laser treatment, which is generally more effective, but varies from person to person and may require multiple treatments, and may not even fade in some patients. During the recovery period, patients with burns should avoid eating spicy and stimulating, fatty and greasy food, try not to use irritating cosmetics, go out and pay attention to sun protection, keep local cleanliness, more hydration, and also pay attention to avoid staying up late to ensure adequate sleep, which can promote melanin to fade as soon as possible.
