For the filled tooth, it should be given timely and necessary protection, and the following matters should be noted: 1. Follow the doctor’s advice, do not use the newly filled tooth to chew food and hard objects. Generally, it is appropriate to chew food on the affected side after 24 hours to prevent tooth fracture and filling loss.  2.If there is slight pain after filling, you can observe yourself first, some of the slight discomfort and pain can disappear by itself. If the pain is not reduced but further aggravated, or if there is biting pain, jumping pain, hot and cold stimulation pain, or spontaneous pain at night, you should go to hospital for follow-up examination and treatment in time to find out the cause and eliminate the pain.  3, For the teeth with serious caries and large area defect, often due to the lack of resistance of the tooth itself, the tooth is prone to fracture when chewing, for this reason, such teeth should be protected by the crown of the affected tooth according to the physician’s suggestion in time to prevent the crown from folding.  4, The filled tooth should also be checked periodically to see if the filling material has fallen off and if there is any gap leakage at the edge.
