Precautions to take after a dental filling

  1.Fast food should be taken within 2 hours after filling; after 2 hours, you can eat some light and mild liquid food and semi-liquid food; such as milk, bread, porridge and soup food.  2.If the cavity is large, the tooth is often prone to fracture when chewing due to the insufficient resistance of the tooth itself after filling, therefore, such teeth should avoid chewing hard food after filling, or do a shell crown protection according to the physician’s suggestion.  3.If local anesthesia is applied before filling, the local anesthesia effect will last for two hours, please remember that you can eat only after two hours, and pay attention not to bite the lips during the period.  4.For teeth with deep decay, if there is pain or gum swelling after filling, please contact for follow-up consultation in time.  5.In order to prevent the occurrence of secondary caries and recurrence of caries, please remember to refuse sweet food, brush your teeth in the morning and evening, rinse your mouth after meals, do a good job of oral hygiene care, and have oral examination regularly (3-6 months).
