How much does myopia treatment cost?

Myopia is one of the most common diseases of the eye. Patients mainly present with blurred vision of distant objects and clear vision of near objects. The cost of myopia treatment is related to the method of treatment. The common clinical treatments include eye drops, frames and excimer laser surgery. First, for some patients with pseudomyopia, eye drops can be used to help restore normal vision levels. Commonly used eye drops include atropine and posterior matropine. Eye drops are effective for the treatment of pseudomyopia, but the effectiveness of treatment for true myopia cannot be confirmed. Second, wearing frame eyes is the best way to treat true myopia. By wearing concave lenses, which play a role in dispersing light, you can make distant object images converge on the retina, thus achieving corrected vision. The cost of prescription glasses is usually a few hundred dollars. Finally, patients with high myopia or those who feel that wearing glasses affects their daily work can receive laser surgery to help restore their vision through corneal surgery, lens surgery or posterior scleral reinforcement. The cost of the procedure varies from hospital to hospital and generally costs several thousand dollars. Depending on their condition, myopic patients can choose between medication, corrective eyeglass treatment or surgery to help restore normal vision levels.
