Fever in patients with cerebral thrombosis may be caused by the following conditions: the first one is the most common complication, with lung infection being the most common, followed by urinary tract infection, gastrointestinal tract infection, skin infection, etc. Fever caused by infection requires active use of targeted antibiotics, and it is recommended to improve bacterial culture plus drug sensitivity testing and use drugs according to the drug sensitivity results. In the second case, the patient has a large infarct area, and dehydration has led to hyperhydration and hyperosmolarity, resulting in dehydration fever, which requires improvement of electrolyte and osmolarity examination and active rehydration support treatment. In the third case, cerebral thrombosis involves the thermoregulatory center in the brain, resulting in central hyperthermia. In this case, the effect of drug cooling is poor, and physical cooling is needed, and ice, ice caps and ice blankets are recommended.
