1.General treatment The cause should be removed, bed rest, stop all food or drugs that stimulate the stomach, give a light diet, fasting if necessary, drink more water, and drink sugar saline if the diarrhea is heavy. 2, symptomatic treatment for different symptoms to treat. (1) local hot compress is feasible for abdominal pain, and antispasmodic and analgesic drugs, such as atropine, compound belladonna tablets and scopolamine, are given for severe pain. (2) Inject metoclopramide (gastrofluan) in case of severe vomiting. (3) If necessary, give oral H2 receptor antagonists, such as cimetidine, ranitidine, to reduce gastric acid secretion to reduce mucosal inflammation; also can apply magnesium aluminum carbonate or aluminum thioglycollate and other antacids or mucosal protective drugs. 3.Anti-infection treatment Generally, anti-infection treatment is not needed, but for those caused by bacteria, especially with diarrhea, berberine (safranin), furazolidone (dysentery), sulfonamide preparations, quinolone preparations such as norfloxacin (haloperidol), gentamicin and other antibacterial drugs can be used. 4.Maintain water, electrolyte and acid-base balance When vomiting and diarrhea lead to water and electrolyte disorders, oral rehydration can be given in mild cases, and intravenous rehydration should be given in severe cases, and balanced saline or 5% glucose saline can be used, and pay attention to potassium supplementation; for those with acidosis, 5% sodium bicarbonate injection can be used to correct it.
