What are the precursors of ectopic pregnancy?

Ectopic pregnancy, medically known as ectopic pregnancy, is when a fertilized egg is lodged in an abnormal location in the uterus. Tubal pregnancy is the most common. Its symptoms are related to the location of the fertilized egg, the presence or absence of miscarriage or rupture, the amount and duration of bleeding. If miscarriage or rupture has not yet occurred, there are often no specific precursory manifestations. 1. Menopause: Most patients have a history of menopause, while some have no history of menopause or it is not obvious. Abdominal pain: About 95% of patients will have abdominal pain. When the fertilized egg is laid in the fallopian tube for various reasons, the patient often shows distension and pain in one side of the lower abdomen due to gradual enlargement, which cannot be relieved; because of the limited space in the fallopian tube, when the embryo grows to a certain size, the embryonic chorionic activity will be reduced, i.e. fallopian tube pregnancy abortion; or the embryo grows strongly and bursts the fallopian tube lumen, which can lead to hemorrhage, i.e. fallopian tube pregnancy rupture. The rupture of pregnancy is often characterized by a sudden tearing pain in the lower abdomen, accompanied by nausea and vomiting, anal swelling (feeling of defecation), and even pain in the shoulder blade and chest. 3. Vaginal bleeding: About 60-80% of patients have vaginal bleeding at the same time, which is small, dark red and intermittent, mostly after abortion of tubal pregnancy. For patients with ruptured ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage resulting in intra-abdominal hemorrhage, fainting occurs in mild cases and hemorrhagic shock in severe cases, manifesting as panic, weakness of limbs, wet and cold skin, profuse sweating and even impaired consciousness, etc. If not rescued in time, the patient may die. For women of childbearing age with normal sexual life, if abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding occur after menopause, they need to consult a hospital promptly for clarification.
