What should I expect after blepharoplasty?

Precautions after blepharoplasty: 1. Keep the wound clean and dry to prevent infection. If the wound becomes infected, it can lead to the formation of wound scars. So be careful not to wet the wound when washing your face after surgery. 2. You can remove the dressing from your eyes 1 to 2 days after surgery. If there is blood scab or secretion on the wound, use sterile saline or medical alcohol to wipe it. 3.Head high, sleep with a higher pillow at night to avoid bending and lowering the head to cause wound congestion, resulting in prolonged swelling of the wound. 4.Repeatedly open your eyes and look upward for 2 days after surgery to promote the edema to subside. 5.Take oral anti-swelling medication for treatment. 6.Hot steam smoked wound for 2 days after surgery to promote swelling reduction. 7.3-7 days for stitch removal.
