There is no effective treatment for Down’s syndrome. It requires a combination of measures in collaboration with medical staff and parents to provide long-term patient education and training to improve the child’s quality of life and enable him to acquire certain skills for living and learning.
As there is no effective treatment for the disease, effective prevention through prenatal screening is recommended for mothers.
