How does the face of a child with Down’s syndrome behave?

The child has a distinctive peculiar facial appearance at birth with a dull expression, manifested by small eye slits, wide eye spacing, upward sloping eyes, a flattened face, a low nasal bridge, small outer ears, often open mouth and tongue, a lot of salivation, a small, round head and a short, wide neck.
