The initial symptoms of anorexia nervosa in girls include two levels: behavioral and psycho-spiritual. On the first behavioral level, patients are characterized by restriction of eating, which is manifested by strict limitation of the amount and type of food eaten at each meal, so initially the intake of staple foods can be reduced, and the intake of various kinds of meat and eggs is strictly controlled, and excessive attention is paid to food fat content, calories, sugar content, etc., and foods with high fat content are regarded as forbidden. The second behavioral aspect is excessive exercise, which is characterized by the compulsion to perform various activities for the purpose of calorie consumption and weight loss, including some excessive sports, household chores, and even the refusal to sit or lie down while standing or walking. This is the core symptom of the initial symptoms of anorexia nervosa, which manifests itself as the endless pursuit of thinness, morbid fear of obesity, and fearful refusal to maintain normal weight, which is more common in clinical practice.
