What is simple hyperplasia of the endometrium?

Simple endometrial hyperplasia is a condition caused by the overgrowth of the endometrium in women. This simple endometrial hyperplasia is not accompanied by other endometrial lesions, but is simply an excessive thickening. The main symptoms are irregular menstruation, prolonged periods and excessive menstrual flow. It is common in menopausal or adolescent women and occurs mainly due to ovarian estrogen overproduction and progesterone deficiency. Simple hyperplasia of the endometrium with irregular periods and excessive menstrual flow is usually caused by ovarian follicles that develop but do not ovulate. Due to the continuous secretion of estrogen by the ovaries, it causes endometrial hyperplasia on the one hand, while on the other hand, due to endocrine disorder and non-ovulation, the endometrium lacks the action of progesterone and cannot be exfoliated normally. The endometrium, under the action of long-term estrogen, overproliferates and is not completely exfoliated, so it leads to excessive menstruation and prolonged menstruation. Perimenopausal and adolescent women are prone to such endocrine dysfunction due to dysfunction of a certain link at the pituitary ovary of the hypothalamus, which can cause endometrial hyperplasia. Whether the endometrium is simply hyperplastic or not can be diagnosed by pathology through diagnostic scraping.
