It is common to meet patients who come to the clinic and ask for a thorough treatment of celiac disease, and some of them are even worried that it may deteriorate into cervical cancer. Some patients of this age have not yet given birth, and they have to undergo several courses of anti-inflammatory, physiotherapy and microwave treatments in some not-so-formalized clinics. Is it really so terrible? Celiac disease is not all true inflammatory disease, nor is it really celiac disease. Since the vaginal part of the cervix is composed of complex squamous epithelium, which is smooth and pink, and the columnar epithelium of the cervical canal is fine and granular, if the complex squamous epithelium of the vaginal part of the cervix is replaced by the columnar epithelium of the cervical canal, it does not appear to be smooth, but rather slightly bright red granularity called “celiac disease”. In a significant proportion of the normal population, the vaginal part of the cervix is occupied by columnar epithelium, and even 4% of the population has all columnar epithelium, the so-called “third-degree celiac disease”. Columnar epithelium is exposed to the acidic environment of the vagina, coupled with inflammatory secretion stimulation, will gradually squamous epithelialization, if repeated inflammation of this chemotaxis, repair process will be more intense, the formation of a variety of squamous epithelial hyperplasia or hyperplasia, etc., cervical cysts are also in the squamous epithelium in the blocking of the opening of the glands and the mucus retention caused by the squamous epithelialization. The squamous columnar epithelium of the cervix is the area where the cells are active and prone to cancerous changes. Relying on the doctor’s naked eye, it is not possible to determine whether it is normal squamous columnar epithelium or inflammation repair or heterogeneous proliferation of cells or even cancerous cells, which is also the reason for everyone’s panic. In fact, there is no need to worry too much, although the incidence of cervical cancer has increased recently, but the incidence of malignant tumors is counted in hundreds of thousands, and the chance of the disease itself is not high, there is no need to worry too much, for female friends who have sex life, they should do cervical examination once a year or once every two years, and choose the cervical cytology or colposcopy to rule out malignant lesions, and if they rule out the malignant lesions, they should not worry too much. If malignancy is ruled out, patients with abnormal secretions or contact bleeding can undergo physiotherapy if they have given birth, but if they have not yet given birth, physiotherapy is generally not recommended, and active follow-up physical examination is sufficient. In addition, cervical inflammation generally does not need rehydration and anti-inflammatory treatment, physical therapy can be completed once, do not need to do the course of treatment.
