How soon after disc meniscus surgery can I walk normally?

How soon you can walk normally after disc meniscus surgery is related to how the disc meniscus is operated on.
If only a partial excision and plication of the disc meniscus is performed without a meniscus suture, you can walk with crutches on the second to third day after surgery and gradually walk with weight, and gradually get off the crutches in about two weeks, and basically resume walking and most activities before surgery in about eight weeks. It takes about 1 month to be free of crutches and 3 months to return to preoperative levels of movement and walking.
