Yesterday, we completed a case of elderly surgery. The patient is an 85-year-old woman who started to have hidden pain and discomfort in the right lower abdomen half a year ago and did not pay attention to it, but recently she found a mass in the right lower abdomen on her own and came to the clinic. During the operation, it was found that the tumor was quite large and had infiltrated closely and fixed with the right abdominal wall, so intestinal obstruction was bound to occur in the short term if it was not removed. After efforts, the tumor was finally separated from the abdominal wall smoothly and safely, and the right hemicolectomy was completed. This should be of great benefit to the patient’s late survival.
