If the thyroid gland is completely excised, the thyroid function should be measured and the TG, i.e. thyroglobulin, should also be measured because the thyroglobulin is generally secreted by the follicles of the thyroid gland. Therefore, it is often necessary to test thyroglobulin after surgery to clarify whether the lesion is cleanly cut and whether it has recurred; if the thyroid is partially cut or partially removed, there is no need to check TG. 2. Check the ultrasound of the neck and thyroid gland; some lesions with lymph node metastasis, such as lymph node metastasis in the neck or residual lesions in the thyroid gland, can be detected by ultrasound. There are not many items that are routinely reviewed after surgery, and the cost is not too much.
