Symptomatic treatment, i.e. analgesic treatment, commonly used drugs include ibuprofen, ketoprofen, meclofenamic acid, diclofenac, etc.
Etiological treatment needs to be carried out under the supervision of a specialist, with antibiotics, anti-tuberculosis drugs, oestrogen and progesterone and antidepressants being given for different causes.
