There are many different and complex classifications of cervical spondylosis, and the following eight are recognized clinically: 1. Localized cervical spondylosis, also known as cervical cervical spondylosis. This type is the initial stage of cervical spondylosis, that is, all other types of cervical spondylosis may need to go through this stage, and the main symptoms are localized in the neck, that is, localized pain, stiffness and unfavorable movement of the neck. 2. Nerve root type cervical spondylosis. The main feature of this type of disease is that it causes symptoms of nerve root irritation, such as pain, numbness and weakness of the upper limbs. 3. Vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis. This type of cervical spondylosis is characterized by irritation of the vertebral artery, which causes a lack of blood supply to the brain, resulting in dizziness and blackness. 4. Sympathetic cervical spondylosis. This type of disease is characterized by stimulation of the sympathetic nerve due to cervical spondylosis, followed by a series of symptoms such as headache, dizziness, blackness in front of the eyes, blurred vision, eye swelling, ear swelling, tinnitus, ear blockage, rhinitis, pharyngitis, panic, chest palpitations, etc. 5. Spinal cord type cervical spondylosis. This type of cervical spondylosis is characterized by a wide range of effects, which may cause the patient to have weakness in the limbs and special sensations such as a feeling of stepping on cotton and a feeling of chest girdling. 6. Esophageal compression type cervical spondylosis. This type of disease mainly makes the patient have difficulty in swallowing.7. Calcified posterior longitudinal ligament type cervical spondylosis. This type of disease mainly causes stiffness of the neck, unfavorable movement and may produce symptoms similar to those of spinal cord cervical spondylosis. 8. Mixed type of cervical spondylosis. This type of cervical spondylosis is mainly one or two of the previous types of cervical spondylosis mixed together, followed by a combination of symptoms.
