How to treat a baby’s cold with acupressure

Infants with colds can be treated with Tui Na techniques such as opening the gate of heaven, pushing the kan-gong, transporting the sun, gently moving the spine with the Mo method, pushing the spine straight up, and clearing the large intestines (pushing straight up from the mouth of the tiger to the index finger).
It should be noted that Tui Na techniques should not be used on children with severe infections, or those with severe brain, heart or kidney disease.
Basic techniques include clearing the large intestine (pushing straight from the tiger’s mouth to the index finger), pushing the kan-gong (alternately pushing the thumbs of both hands straight up and down from the midpoint between the eyebrows to the front hairline), transporting the sun, opening the gate of heaven (pushing the thumbs of both hands from the center of the eyebrow to the end of the eyebrow), and gently rubbing the spine of the child from the top to the bottom with the mofa method, or pushing the spine with the abdominal part of the second finger of the forefinger or the middle finger, and so on.
Depending on the type of cold, rubbing Yingxiang and External Laogong can be added for wind-cold cold; pressing Fengmen and pushing Tanzhong can be added for wind-heat cold; rubbing Tanzhong and Panmen can be added for summer-cold cold; and rubbing Guiwei and Panmen can be added for seasonal cold.
If the baby has a cold, it is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible, please do not use massage techniques on your own, so as not to delay the condition.
