Application of minimally invasive hip arthroplasty

The use of the SuperPath hip replacement is the latest surgical route. Compared to traditional surgery, no muscles or tendons are cut during the surgical operation, no dislocation of the femoral head is required, and accordingly only small incisions are needed to complete the surgery. Therefore, the patient recovers quickly and the dislocation rate is minimal, and this surgical approach is attracting the attention of American colleagues. I went to Phoenix Hedley Orthopaedic Institute and St. Luke’s Medical Center in the United States from February to May 2014 to study under the founder of this procedure, DR. We hope that Chinese patients will soon reap the benefits of this procedure.
