The patient had been operated on once before at another well-known hospital, and the diagnosis of explosion injury and deep intraorbital foreign body was made at that time, because of the complexity of the condition, the patient’s parents brought the patient to our hospital. The foreign body, the size of a sunflower seed, was successfully removed with minimal damage, and the cost to the patient was approximately 40% less than expected. The patient’s vision was photopic at the time of hospitalization and now has 0.1 vision.
