Are high and low shoulders bad for us?

When it comes to high and low shoulders, many people may not think that it is just one shoulder high and one shoulder low. They think it is normal to have high and low shoulders, because people nowadays usually have high and low shoulders. High and low shoulders are related to posture, but it doesn’t mean that high and low shoulders have no effect on us.
To understand the effect of high and low shoulders on us, of course, we should start with the causes of high and low shoulders.
  Bilateral muscle imbalance.
Shoulder backpacks, sleeping in the wrong position, playing computer for a long time, playing mahjong, lying in bed reading books, watching TV can cause tension in the shoulder muscles on the side that is often used, causing the shoulder on this side to be higher.
  Scoliosis.
The shoulder on the convex side of the scoliosis will be higher whether there is a simple assessment of scoliosis: the convex side of the scoliosis will be higher after bending.
  Long and short feet.
High and low shoulders due to this cause cannot be assessed by the naked eye.
Pelvic tilt, spinal tilt.
The above four causes interact with each other, and when high and low shoulders appear, they are usually accompanied by the four symptoms mentioned above. These are: muscle tension on the higher side, scoliosis, long and short legs, and a tilted pelvis. Therefore, either of these causes can lead to other problems. High and low shoulders can be very harmful to a person.
High and low shoulders are not just a simple imbalance of the body, but most importantly, they cause a deformation of the spine, which is like a tightened towel. The distortion of the spine compresses the nerves around the spine, causing arm numbness, neck pain, dizziness, low quality sleep, blood pressure, heart system and other problems!
Hazards of high and low shoulders I: Neck and shoulder pain.
This is due to excessive tightness of the muscles near the shoulders, or further cervical scoliosis due to spinal degeneration caused by scoliosis, thus predisposing to chronic pain in the neck and shoulder area.
The second danger of high and low shoulder: chronic headache.
When the pain in the neck and shoulder area worsens, it is likely to spread to the head and even produce chronic headaches. If you are suffering from inexplicable headaches, it is most likely caused by long-term high and low shoulders!
The danger of high and low shoulder three: cervical spine degeneration.
When the problem of high and low shoulders cannot be solved, the long years of improper posture makes the load on the cervical spine too heavy, which may eventually lead to degeneration of the cervical spine and even the formation of bone spurs!
The danger of high and low shoulder four: lumbar pain, leg length discrepancies.
High and low shoulders cause displacement of the pelvis, making the lumbar tissue muscle imbalance, leading to low back pain. Also, pelvic displacement can cause changes in leg length.
High and low shoulder is actually a developmental disorder, so it should not be ignored. Only with a correct understanding of its hazards can we stop maintaining a dismissive attitude towards it and think about how to solve this problem.
