The specific irradiation technique and dose should be determined according to the size and scope of the lesions, etc. Multiple brain metastases with more than 5 are usually irradiated 10 times for a total of 30 Gy (3000 cGy) in two weeks’ time, and there are also 20 times to give 40 Gy, and the difference between the two effects is not significant. If the number of lesions is small, you can consider adding stereotactic radiotherapy after whole brain radiotherapy, which can improve the efficacy.
