Common discomfort after urethral stricture surgery

  Generally, the urinary catheter is removed first after surgery and urination is observed for 2 weeks, and then the fistula is removed if urination is clear. You can’t hold urine and you have an urge to urinate. This is also normal and is mostly due to the irritation of the fistula. The symptoms will disappear after the fistula is removed. It is also normal and will be relieved or disappear after removal of the urinary catheter.
