Can paediatric eczema heal on its own?

Paediatric eczema is one of the more common paediatric skin conditions and can be classified as mild, moderate or severe. If eczema is mild it can usually heal on its own, whereas moderate and severe eczema can be difficult to heal on its own. If a child’s eczema is confined to certain areas and is mild, no medication is needed. Severe eczema will need to be examined by a doctor and directed to be treated with medication. Milder medications that are less irritating should be chosen and hormonal medications should be avoided.
