Compound Niu Huang Qing Stomach Pill is composed of Gardenia, Rhubarb, Forsythia, Manganese, Huanglian, Chenpi, Citrus aurantium, Platycodonopsis, Angelica dahurica and so on, and its function is to clear away heat and pass the bowels. It is mainly used for treating sore mouth and tongue, unfavorable pharyngeal burp, swollen and painful gums, and dry and knotty stools caused by solid heat in stomach and intestines. Compound Niu Huang Qing Stomach Pill is contraindicated in pregnant women. The adverse reactions of this product are not clear.
Huanglian Shangqing Pill is composed of Huanglian, Cranberry, forsythia, Scutellaria baicalensis, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Angelica dahurica, Fenghuang, Chrysanthemum and so on. It functions in dispersing wind-heat and clearing heat, diarrhea and pain relief. It is mainly used for treating mouth and tongue sores, dizziness, earache and tinnitus, sore throat and toothache caused by wind-heat attacking upward and heat in the lungs and stomach.
Adverse reactions such as nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea, skin rash may occur. It is contraindicated for people with cold spleen and stomach and those who are allergic to this product.
