Amblyopia treatment instrument use precautions

  1. Those who have been prescribed glasses need to wear glasses for treatment. Wearing glasses itself is an important means of treating amblyopia. So be sure to insist on wearing glasses. 2.Generally, the treatment is once a day, and each training is 2-3 functions. For more serious cases, you can train 2-3 times a day, with an interval of 2 hours or more between two adjacent training sessions. It is better to train different functions on two adjacent days, referring to the training schedule equipped with the instrument, or to train the functions specified by the doctor (it is better to do a level of visual acuity-contrast sensitivity training every day). Any one function can be added to the training schedule of the instrument in order to enrich the training content. 3, each function only needs to be trained for 5 minutes per eye or extended training time as prescribed by the doctor (except for posterior image). 4.Grade visual acuity-contrast sensitivity training is the function with the best effect of increasing visual acuity, there is a certain degree of difficulty in training, as long as you insist on training you can achieve good results. 5, each instrument is attached to the in-camera visual acuity, but this visual acuity table and 5-meter visual acuity has 1-2 rows of deviation, when the visual acuity up to 0.9 or with myopia, high farsightedness, deviation may be larger, for reference only, can not fully represent the 5-meter visual acuity. However, if a child can see 0.5 on the in-camera visual acuity scale today and 0.7 next month, it does not necessarily mean that his visual acuity is 0.7, but it does mean that the child’s visual acuity has improved. Finally, amblyopia is not a difficult disease, the principle of treatment is early detection and early treatment, the best time for treatment is between the ages of four and six. Children with monocular amblyopia are less likely to be detected, and most of them are older when they are detected, so it is more important to treat them in a timely manner. The choice of instrument must be the right one, and must be based on the specific circumstances of the child.
