Foreign bodies stuck in the throat, most commonly fish spines, meat bones, etc., can generally fall off within a few minutes to 2 hours if the patient coughs deeply and promptly. In some cases where the foreign body stuck is small and does not cause too much damage to the throat, it may fall off within 10 hours with a normal eating state.
