Cesarean section does not hurt for a few days

The pain of cesarean section generally subsides gradually around 5-10 days after the operation, and disappears as the body recovers. However, the length of wound recovery time varies depending on the individual’s physical condition and specific circumstances. The recovery time after cesarean section is longer than that of vaginal delivery, and the duration of wound pain varies from person to person. The wound of cesarean section is not only on the surface of the abdomen, but also in the lower part of the uterus, and there are incisions in the rectus abdominis layer, the anterior sheath and the peritoneal layer. If you press gently below the navel, the pain is still felt above the wound, which is generally normal. It is recommended that women take care of the wound carefully and effectively after caesarean section to ensure local cleanliness and dryness and avoid infection in order to promote wound healing. At the same time, adjust the usual mood, maintain a happy and optimistic mood; rest more, avoid strain, ensure adequate nutrition, etc.
