How many days can I get out of bed after a cesarean section?

Usually, women can get out of bed on the second day after cesarean section with the assistance of their families, depending on their condition. Cesarean section is a solution for difficult deliveries, and after the operation the woman’s mobility is poorer than in normal normal deliveries due to anesthesia. Therefore, it is recommended that the mother move her limbs when she is lying in bed after the operation, once the sensation in the lower limbs has gradually returned, in order to facilitate the recovery of intestinal function and prevent postoperative deep vein thrombosis. The first time a woman goes to the floor, she should be careful to drink and eat in advance to ensure that she has enough energy. When getting out of bed, it is recommended to sit on the edge of the bed for a while and gradually get up, preferably with someone accompanying you, to prevent postpartum weakness that may lead to first-time deficiency. In addition, women should pay attention to clean and dry vulva after cesarean delivery, wear cotton loose underwear; do a good job of wound care to avoid infection.
