Breast augmentation with artificial implants or autologous fat?

Almost all women want to have a pair of full and firm breasts. For this reason, some women resort to wearing various bras with different ingredients and using various breast enlargement drugs to stimulate breast enlargement, but the results are not satisfactory and may lead to physiological disorders. Since breast augmentation surgery has been carried out, it has enabled many women to lift their chests and restore their confidence and pride as women. With the continuous improvement of surgical techniques, breast augmentation surgery has gradually formed two safer methods: artificial breast implants and autologous granular fat injections for breast augmentation. At the same time, it also brings confusion to women who want breast augmentation: which of the two methods is better and which one is more suitable for me? Breast augmentation is a method to increase the volume of the breast by implanting a molded artificial breast implant into the body (usually the posterior space of the pectoralis major muscle). It has the advantages of one-time completion, short operation time, realistic feel and immediate post-operative effect, etc. By choosing different specifications and models, it can achieve the ideal surgical effect. However, it is necessary to insist on massage and limit the strenuous activities of upper limbs for a period of time after surgery, and there are very few people who may have problems such as contracture of the envelope due to excessive foreign body reaction. Breast augmentation with autologous fat injection is a fat transfer process in which excess fat from other parts of the body is suctioned out, purified through cleaning and filtering, and then injected into the breast. The procedure has no obvious incisions, quicker recovery and does not affect daily activities. Since it is your own fat tissue, there are no worries such as rejection reactions, and at the same time, you can liposuction and body contouring to achieve the purpose of two birds with one stone. However, autologous fat transplantation requires sufficient fat sources, and because the volume of tissue receiving transplantation in the chest is limited, too much fat tissue cannot be injected each time. If the operator is inexperienced and concentrates on injecting a large amount at a time, the transplanted fat tissue cannot get sufficient blood supply, and complications such as infection, fat liquefaction and necrosis, and hard nodes are very likely to occur. In addition, the transplanted fat particles contain more fat fragments, which will be absorbed by the body and weaken the effect of breast augmentation. Therefore, autologous fat injection and breast augmentation usually requires several times to achieve the desired effect, with an interval of one to two months each time, which makes the treatment process longer. In terms of surgical indications, breast augmentation is suitable for almost all women who need breast enlargement, such as breast dysplasia, breast atrophy after childbirth or weight loss, mild breast sagging, etc. Breast augmentation with autologous fat injection is more suitable for women who have enough excess fat in other parts of the body, and whose breasts have a certain volume but are not big enough or have mild breast sagging, and less suitable for women with too flat breasts and thin bodies. Until now, breast augmentation with breast implants and breast augmentation with autologous fat injections are still the safest surgical methods to increase breast size, both of which do not affect breastfeeding and do not increase the risk of breast cancer. For breast augmentation surgery, the choice of which method depends more on personal conditions, there is no best, only the most suitable method.
